Jesse went above and beyond at our wedding. I had seen many reviews about Jesse and know individuals who have used Jesse for their weddings and all have spoken so highly of him. Even prior to the event, Jesse was very approachable, always available to chat. He often checked up on us leading up to our special day. He took the time to understand what our vision was for the reception and helped us develop a timeline for the day’s events. Jesse did an amazing job blending different genres to entertain the different cultures of our guests. As we awaited to be announced into the ballroom, Jesse did an amazing job hyping up the crowd, not just for us, but for the entire bridal party. Jesse also assisted in providing MC services, making announcements both in English and in Spanish. Over a week later, and we are still hearing from friends how much they enjoyed the wedding. The dance floor was packed from the very first song. Our guests were dancing so long that many even told us how they did not get to finish their dinner or desserts because they did not leave the dance floor. My wife and I had an amazing time and Jesse came through with the songs we requested to end the night. And our favorite part, the additional service Jesse offers: the dancing on the clouds. It created such a wonderful experience for our first dance. My wife felt like she was a Disney princess during the first dance. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed having Jesse as our DJ. Simply put, Jesse was the best choice for our special day. As many others have commented, you cannot go wrong with Jesse.

"The Bilingual Wedding Expert"
Hello there! My name is Jesse Mateo and I'm a Bilingual (English-Spanish) Professional DJ based out of Bayside NY specializing in Bilingual and Multicultural weddings, corporate & other private events around the country! I predominately service areas in NYC, Long Island, and some areas of New Jersey, Hudson Valley and Connecticut. Travel arrangements can be made when planned accordingly! (I've flown to Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, & Dominican Republic to do events).
For most of my life, music has helped shaped me into the professional I am today. I started off playing piano at the age of 5, had my first performance at the age of 7, learned to play other percussion instruments, to learning and continuing to perfect the art of DJing. I can truly say that my experience has helped me acquire an authentic ear for authentic, culturally rich music.
What separates me from the rest? Unlike other DJs in the market, I strive to make YOUR event as personalized to YOU and YOUR guests as possible. No two people are completely identical and the same goes for your event. We will work collaboratively to ensure that your event incorporates all the elements that you envision. I am an adaptive and interactive DJ who will read the crowd and make sure to play a nice variety of genres so that you and your guests create UNFORGETTABLE memories!
